Hello, I’m Michelle.
I’m an Osteopath with a Masters degree from the European School of Osteopathy, a BSc (Hons) in Human Biology from Oxford Brookes University, and a postgraduate Diploma in Women’s Health Osteopathy through the Molinari Institute of Health. I love treating people at every stage of life—from newborn babies to grandparents who want to keep doing the things they love. While I enjoy the variety that general osteopathic practice brings, my specialist interests are pregnancy, postnatal recovery, pelvic health and scar therapy, helping people recover confidently after birth, surgery and injury.
Before osteopathy, I had a career in Financial Services, which might seem an unlikely route. Becoming a mum changed everything. My fascination with the human body was reignited, and I retrained to pursue a career that combines science, movement and genuinely helping people feel better.
I don’t believe people need fixing. I believe the body has an extraordinary ability to adapt, heal and recover when it’s given the right support. My role is to understand what may be getting in the way, create the best environment for recovery, and help your body do what it was designed to do.
My approach is evidence-informed, hands-on and tailored to the individual sitting in front of me. Whether you’re seeking help with back or neck pain, recovering from surgery, preparing for birth, living with persistent pain or simply wanting to move more comfortably, treatment is centred around your goals—not just your symptoms.
I’m especially passionate about helping people recover well after surgery or injury. Scars can sometimes remain painful, tight or sensitive long after they’ve healed on the surface, affecting movement, comfort and confidence. Using specialist scar therapy alongside osteopathic treatment, I aim to help restore mobility, improve tissue health and support the body’s natural healing process. My experience includes supporting recovery following Caesarean birth, abdominal and pelvic surgery, orthopaedic procedures and traumatic injuries.
Pelvic health is another area that’s often overlooked. Symptoms such as bladder leakage, pelvic pain, painful sex or prolapse are incredibly common, but they should never be dismissed as something you simply have to put up with. I believe these conversations deserve time, compassion and expert clinical care, empowering people with the knowledge and support they need to regain confidence in their bodies.
Alongside my clinical practice, I’m a certified Mummy MOT® Practitioner and continue to undertake postgraduate training in women’s health, rehabilitation and scar care. I’m a lifelong learner and enjoy keeping up to date with emerging research, ensuring my patients receive thoughtful, evidence-informed treatment that’s grounded in the latest understanding of how the body heals and adapts.
Outside the clinic you’ll usually find me with a great cup of coffee in hand, spending time with my husband and two boys, or reading the latest research—because understanding the human body never stops fascinating me.
